Embark on a journey through the transformative renovation of the Panama Street Residence, a testament to architectural innovation and meticulous craftsmanship.
As the inaugural Australian project undertaken by our practice, this two-story dwelling underwent a comprehensive internal rejuvenation, elevating its living spaces to unparalleled levels of sophistication and functionality.
At the heart of this renovation lies a commitment to excellence, evident in every facet of the redesign. A focal point of the renovation, the kitchen was completely reinvented with modern sensibilities, boasting high-quality appliances, stone countertops, and sleek, colored glass splashbacks. The addition of a versatile breakfast bar enhances both functionality and aesthetic appeal, providing a communal hub for culinary endeavours and social gatherings alike. Throughout the residence, attention to detail reigns supreme.
Three bathrooms, including an ensuite, underwent a meticulous renovation, featuring floor-to-ceiling tiles in a neutral brownish palette that harmonizes seamlessly with the newly installed Tasmanian Oak hardwood timber flooring.
Semi-frameless glass structures encase the shower cubicles, while strategically positioned mirrors amplify the perception of space, imbuing each bathroom with an air of expansive luxury.
Further enhancements abound, from the comprehensive replacement of all sliding wardrobe doors and linen cupboards with sleek chrome-finished frame doors and full-in mirrors, to the full replacement of the central vacuum system and solar hot water supply. The integration of LED lighting fixtures and ceiling fans throughout the residence ensures both energy efficiency and optimal comfort, while a newly created studio “knock” offers a dedicated space for family members to engage with IT technology and learning.
The renovation extends beyond mere functionality, embracing the ethos of modern living. A palette of “of-white” hues adorns the re-plastered walls and ceilings, providing a neutral canvas for the display of cherished artworks and personal memorabilia.
With carefully curated furnishings adorning the living, dining, and bedroom spaces, the Panama Street Residence exudes the timeless elegance of a newly constructed home, while retaining the character and charm of its heritage.
Step into a realm where architectural ingenuity meets unparalleled comfort and style. The Panama Street Residence stands as a testament to the transformative power of thoughtful design, redefining the notion of contemporary living with every meticulously crafted detail.
