At our studio MWA, we view landscaping as an integral component of architectural design, not merely an afterthought.
Our approach to Architectural Landscaping is deeply rooted in creating cohesive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that resonate with the architectural character of each residential, commercial or public project.
Our designs emphasize the importance of hard landscaping, particularly in crafting outdoor living areas that serve as extensions of the home, but similarly enrich commercial or public projects offering outdoor activities too.
Whether it’s the strategic use of varied pavements, simple plain concrete or exposed aggregate, the structural integrity provided by retaining walls—be it timber, gabions, or concrete—each element is carefully chosen to enhance the overall architectural vision.
Equally, soft landscaping plays a vital role in our projects.
By integrating native trees, shrubs, and thoughtfully curated plantings, we create lush, sustainable environments that complement the hardscape while providing essential ecological benefits.
The inclusion of fruit and vegetable gardens further underscores our commitment to creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
Collaboration is key. We work closely with our clients and skilled landscapers to ensure every design is unique, reflecting the specific site, functional needs, and personal tastes of the homeowner.
From the initial concept through to the final installation, we pay meticulous attention to every detail—be it the selection of finishes, the harmony of colors, or the combination of materials.
The true impact of our landscaping can be seen in the finished projects. Each space tells its own story, demonstrating the importance of thoughtful landscaping in the overall success of architectural design.
