STATUS
Design stage
Navigating the intricate planning regulations, site constraints, and specific client requirements, our studio embarked on an extensive design exploration to create a solution that would exceed expectations.
The result is a two-story building with extensive deck terrace areas and substantial storage spaces tucked underneath, effectively creating a “third story” and optimizing every inch of the site.
From the outset, the main goal was to maintain privacy on the compact site while capitalizing on the favorable orientation to capture sunlight and embrace the panoramic views.
The architectural composition revolves around a simple yet elegant material palette, featuring metal roofing and folded metal roofing wall cladding, James Hardie “Lineaboard” wall cladding, and extensively colored double glazing in aluminum joinery, culminating in a unique visual appearance that seamlessly blends with the natural landscape.
